What we do
As a network of more than 1,200 Bible-centred churches and evangelical agencies throughout Britain and Ireland, we declare and demonstrate the unity of Christ's Church for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom through the following ways.
'Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.' (Ephesians 4:1-3).
Build unity
Affinity is the natural place where conservative evangelicals can express their shared faith in the Lord Jesus and recognise themselves to be part of a much larger body than just their own local congregation or organisation. We facilitate this by organising events and hosting meetings, bringing people together.
Be a voice
We are one of the leading voices for conservative evangelicals in the Christian and secular media, where the views of evangelical Bible-believing Christians are rarely heard. We speak on behalf of our constituency in both secular and Christian media, regularly being asked to give an evangelical perspective on current affairs.
Produce resources
We equip churches and individuals for the challenges of living in the contemporary world. These may take the form of societal, political or moral issues about which Christians have an important contribution to make. We also provide forums and publications to promote orthodox theology as we engage with current theological debates, thinking and cultural trends.
Training and events
We host and sponsor a number of events to promote and deepen theological understanding. This includes our Theological Study Conference when every two years church leaders and ministry heads come to be equipped through digging deeper into theological issues and sharing in fellowship.
