Brief description
Day One Christian Ministries Who are you? What do you do? These are questions that are often asked. The Lord’s Day One of the areas of our work is encouraging Christians to understand the importance of Sunday. This is done by taking meetings and providing books and booklets free to those that are interest in knowing more about this wonderful provision that God has given us. Publications Day One have been producing Christian literature for over 30 years. A variety of books are published for both adults and young people covering various topics. Greeting cards are available as well as items for the Christmas season. Bookmarks and Stationery complete a large selection of products. A complete illustrated catalogue is available along with an online shop. Discounts are given to bookshops and churches. Prison Ministry Thirty nine years ago we were invited to distribute our pocket diary in Dartmoor prison, Devon. The diary has a verse from the Bible and twelve coloured photographs. From that small beginning, the numbers have escalated over the years so that 195,000 copies were distributed throughout 168 prisons within the United Kingdom. Prison Chaplains tell us that these diaries are so valuable that they are constantly asked for a copy. All these diaries are sent without charge so that prisoners can have something personal for their use. Tours/Events Day One takes parties around the British Museum to help and encourage people to understand the Bible and provide evidence and proof that the Bible is true. We also run a number of events and talks by our authors on the books that they have written. For further information, Catalogues and our magazine please contact our Headquarters below.
