Statement on Assisted Dying/Suicide

Affinity was invited to submit evidence to Lord Falconer’s Commission on Assisted Dying. After carefully considering this invitation we have decided not to take up it up. We have, however, prepared a statement setting out what we believe are the views of the churches and Christians belonging to Affinity and many others who believe in the sanctity of human life.
