Job vacancy: Director at True Freedom Trust
True Freedom Trust (TFT), an agency member, is seeking to appoint a full-time Director.
TFT is a small Christian charity that has been providing pastoral support and teaching on issues related to same-sex attraction for over 45 years. Their network of Voluntary Workers offers pastoral support, and they regularly speak at churches across a range of denominations, as well as at Bible colleges and Christian events throughout the UK and Ireland. Further information about their work can be found at truefreedomtrust.co.uk.
The successful candidate must be a Bible-believing Christian, as this is an occupational requirement for the role. Applicants must affirm their agreement with the Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith and TFT’s Basis of Belief. The position is open to both men and women, regardless of sexual orientation.
The role calls for someone who is excited to develop a vision for TFT’s work and devise a strategy to achieve this. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, proactive, organised, resilient, and self-motivated. The Director will lead and oversee all areas of TFT’s ministry, working closely with the Trustees to establish the organisation’s strategic direction and managing the staff team to deliver this vision. While the Director will prioritise the key responsibilities outlined in the Job Description, there is flexibility in how they allocate the remainder of their working time.
The role is home-based, with regular travel to the head office in the Wirral to meet with the staff team. It also involves travel to conferences and speaking engagements across the UK and Ireland.
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £37,500-£42,500 per annum, according to level of experience.
