Christ Church, McDermott Road Peckham

Christ Church McDermott Road is a member of the FIEC and offers a warm welcome to all. We are a friendly fellowship of mixed ages and backgrounds. The morning service is a family service and includes praise and worship and bible readings. The service is led by one of the church members and a visiting speaker, who brings a bible based message. Just before the main sermon, the junior church leaves for a time of separate teaching, tailored to their age groups. We regularly meet for refreshments after the morning service and on special occasions, meals are shared. Why not come and join us? Christ Church McDermott also holds historical significance as it is the site of the first religious broadcast to a UK Congregation. The church is associated with a local youth club which has been running for over 60 years. During term time, the club meets Monday to Thursday evenings throughout the week.
