Affinity member Christian Safeguarding Services are holding a safeguarding training event in Birmingham next month, aimed at church leaders and officers and designated safeguarding leads. 

“Safe&Sound” on 27 March seeks to provide the information needed to ensure that churches’ approach to safeguarding (including policies, procedures & systems and the development of a positive and healthy culture) is compliant with latest legislation and guidance – and is biblically faithful.

Topics covered also include effective staff and volunteer recruitment, developing confidence and competence, effective auditing of systems and processes and ensuring effective accountability for all.
