Grace Baptist Charities Ltd is the subsidiary partner organisation of The Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East). Together they provide services and resources to Grace Baptist churches, supporting their gospel mission.

Their Company Secretary is planning to retire in September 2019. They are looking for his successor to start in June 2019. The appointment will be for 28/35 hrs per week (negotiable).

GBC Ltd. is a trust company which serves as custodian trustee for chapels and manses and manages other trust funds and properties.

Working primarily from their offices in Angel, London, the Company Secretary is responsible for the internal governance of the company and AGBC(SE) and for advising and assisting with the legal, practical and property needs of local churches and the Association. It is an interesting and varied role.

The person they are looking for

• Will be a committed evangelical Christian with an understanding of Baptist churches.

• Ideally will have worked as a Company Secretary or have a legal background. Experience of property and/or charity law will be particularly useful, and may have been gained in other sectors such as accountancy or government.

• Will be a team player who will fit in well with their happy, hard working and supportive office team and committees.
